Skatelab has been teaching people how to ride since 1997. We offer several different options that will meet the needs of any skateboarder. From beginner to advanced, 4 years old or 40, we have a lesson for you! For more information call 805-52-SKATE or check out these options below…

BANNER_ICEBREAKER
Our complimentary “Ice Breaker” clinic is the best way to break the ice! 9am to 10am every 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month. Skateboard and safety gear provided. If the skater is under 18 a parent MUST BE PRESENT in order to participate. This lesson is ONLY offered to riders who have not yet skated at Skatelab. More details can be found here.

BANNER_SKATESCHOOL
Our most popular skateboard lesson. 10am to 1pm every Saturday & Sunday for beginner to intermediate riders ages 5+. Skateboard and safety gear provided. This group lesson will leave you with sharpened skills and a better sense of skateboarding. This lesson is first come, first serve. We do not accept reservations for Skate School. Be sure to arrive 10-15 minutes early to avoid a sell out. Generally the weekend class is taught by Steve Badillo but occasionally we may have another qualified substitute. $30.00

BANNER_AFTERSCHOOL
A shorter version of our skate school. This after school group lesson is offered every Thursday 5:30pm to 6:30pm plus the option to free ride after the lesson. Skateboard and safety gear provided. $20.00

BANNER_PRIVATE
Personalized 1-on-1 instruction for all ages and skill levels. Private lessons take place at Skatelab during business hours. Each instructor charges their own hourly rates in addition to the Skatelab admission fee. Please contact our instructors directly to inquire about rates and availability. Our instructors are fun, friendly and highly qualified! $40.00 per hour plus Skatelab admission fee.
