passed through our front door. We couldn’t have done it without you! Our indoor location at 4226 Valley Fair Street in Simi Valley is now closed. We are no longer open for business or operating at this location.

There will be a brand new era and an all new Skatelab location coming soon.

Skatelab opened in December 1997. Since then Skatelab has had over 300,000 participants use the skatepark.

Skatelab has been featured in every major Skateboarding magazine including several cover photos. It’s often used in Movies, Videos and TV commercials. You never know who you may see at Skatelab as many Celebrities and their Kids are Skatelab regulars! Over the years we have done some of the coolest Celeb Parties as well as Weddings, Concerts, Bachelor Parties, Business Meetings, Bar Mitzvah’s, Record Release Parties, Art Shows, Fund Raisers, Swap Meets, Video Premiere’s and more.

The park was originally designed by Team Pain and built by many local volunteer skaters, it’s the first skatepark in America to use Finland Birch on it’s ramps and now considered one of the oldest skateparks in existance.

Skatelab has constantly improved and has become more and more fun over the years. Please be sure to get the most from your visit to Skatelab and check out our entire museum both downstairs and upstairs.

Skatelab is ALWAYS supervised and everyone under 18 must wear a helmet to use the ramps.

Skatelab is fully air conditioned.

Skatelab also has FREE WiFi internet access be sure to request the current password at the front desk and bring your own device.

Skatelab is proud to serve Dippin Dots Ice Cream and is the only location in Simi Valley where they are available.

Skatelab has been a member of the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce since 1998 and a member of The California State Historical Society since 1997. Skatelab is Museum #24 on the Ventura County Museums list and is home to the Skateboarding Hall of Fame. It was the first Skateboarding Museum in the world with over 5,000 items on display. Skatelab is open 7 days a week.
